INVASIVE ASPERGILLOSIS MODELS

Aspergillus fumigatus is a pathogenic fungus ubiquitous in the environment. Invasive aspergillosis occurs in severely immunosuppressed patients and is characterized by fungal invasion of blood vessels.
Takis has set up a rodent model of IPA suitable for the evaluation of new drugs and combination with existing standard of care.
