Takis Immunoavatars
  • Takis scientists have established a mouse model bearing human immune system. Human PBMCs are transferred into immunodeficient mice and express PD1, CD69 and other activation markers. Cells are characterized with our 13 colour FACS and used to evaluate in vivo immune checkpoint inhibitors and other immunomodulators.
  • In addition, splenocytes from HLA transgenic mice can be successfully implanted for long term repopulation.
  • In both models, human primary tumor can be implanted and the impact of immune therapies evaluated.

Takis is a biotech dedicated to cancer research. Our primary objective is the development of innovative therapies based on the principle that our immune system can be “instructed” to recognize the tumor and reject it as a foreign entity.
